A teaching portfolio is a compilation of teaching qualifications. This portfolio is to be included when a teacher applies for the title of Excellent Teacher. The portfolio is also used for appointments of staff, promotion, and wage negotiations. The PIL Unit has worked out guidelines how to set up and structure a teaching portfolio.

Applicants who are not employed at KTH are also recommended to use the portfolio. The KTH pedagogical portfolio has been designed to be clear and natural to work with. pedagogical portfolio; clinical portfolio; leadership, development and workplace relations portfolio; To each of the last four parts of the qualifications portfolio there is an instruction on how the merits should be documented.
